We at Emmy&Pepe know that. That's exactly why our dog collars are not only beautiful, but also robust and therefore fully suitable for everyday use. Our four-legged friends dig and romp, sometimes get caught or roll around. It is important to us that neither you nor your dogs have to compromise on quality, functionality and look and for this reason we demand a lot from the materials. But: Enough of our philosophy, here come our ‘inner values'.
Glanz und Persönlichkeit
Der doppelte Hauptstrang unserer Halsbänder besteht aus robustem PPM-Seil. Eine Art Tau, dass im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Materialien besonders widerstandsfähig gegen Dreck, Wasser und Fäulnis ist. Zusätzlich hat es ein sehr geringes Eigengewicht, ist waschbar und sogar schwimmfähig. UND: Es ist völlig ungiftig für Mensch & Tier. Unser Mittelstrang dient der Verschönerung und Personalisierung. Er besteht aus Paracord oder Tau und überzeugt mit einer hohen Bruchlast, dem hautfreundlichen (allergisch völlig unbedenklich) und schnell zu reinigenden Material. Durch die weiche Oberfläche ist es besonders angenehm und verhindert lästiges Einschneiden bei den so empfindlichen Hundehälsen.
Robust & washable
Biothane has long been used in the dog sector and is also found in the collars of Emmy&Pepe. As the link between the rope and the closure, it not only has to defy the elements, but also withstand quite a bit of force. It is easy to clean, does not fade and is resistant to bacteria and odors. The buckles and carabiners we use are made of die-cast zinc, while our rings are made of stainless steel. Both materials are durable, hygienic and robust. Due to the passive layer of the stainless steel ring, it also does not immediately start to rust as soon as abrasion occurs through e.g. the leash.
