  COLLARS, LEASHES AND HARNESSES

 Before washing: Always put collars, harnesses and leads in a laundry bag. To protect your washing machine from metal parts such as snap hooks, you should also put travel blankets or cosy blankets in the machine. Close all fastenings on dog harnesses.

 When washing: The dog collars, dog leads and harnesses are washable at max. 30°C (no fabric softener). Fashion jewellery, such as the beads on the collars, is generally not washable and can change in the machine. Frequent washing or trips to the undergrowth also favour the pearls falling off during use or in the machine.

After washing: Only allow the collar, lead and harness to air dry: they are not suitable for tumble drying - this would damage the material and possibly your tumble dryer. Make sure that the metal parts dry well.

We manufacture every single product carefully and pay attention to your dog's safety. However, because the active everyday life of a dog can put a lot of strain on the material, the following applies: Check your EMMY & PEPE product carefully after every wash - especially whether the book screws are still tight. Tighten them if necessary. You should also oil the springs and threads of the carabiners after every wash. We recommend the dog-friendly Ballistol®.

Care:Especially if your dog often comes into contact with sand, dirt or salt water, it makes sense to rinse the carabiners under running water after your outings and then lubricate them. You should check our collars and leads regularly, about every two months, for loose screws, loose jewellery or trapped foreign objects and tighten the screws or rectify any problems. Please also take this opportunity to lubricate the carabiners - for example with Ballistol®. Please note that all metal parts can silver or the colour can become lighter or discoloured, unfortunately this cannot be avoided.

Before washing:You can remove the fastening clasp to make washing easier. To do this, use a flat tool to open the pin at the side and pull it out. The clasp can then be easily removed.

While washing:We recommend hand wash or 30 °C in the machine

Care: Treat the cap with a drop of oil from time to time.

Poo Bag WAU-POO The dispenser is machine washable at 30 °C. Please use a laundry bag.

Cuddling & sleeping

ORTHOPAEDIC DOG BED WAU-BED

Before washing:You can remove the covers of our orthopaedic dog beds and wash them separately - this saves time, water and energy, as it is usually enough to wash the cover. The inside of the orthopaedic dog beds from EMMY & PEPE can of course also be washed if necessary.

While washing:The covers are washable at a maximum of 40 °C - without fabric softener. The inside, including the filling, can be washed at up to 60 °C, also without fabric softener.

After washing:Both the covers and the filling are suitable for tumble drying. Please use the gentle drying cycle. After machine drying, leave the orthopaedic dog bed spread out to air dry: the filling in particular must be absolutely dry before you cover the freshly washed dog bed again and let your four-legged friend use it.

WAU-HOME couch blankets, dog blankets and pillow covers from EMMY & PEPE are - without fabric softener - suitable for washing machines and tumble dryers (gentle drying cycle).

Travelling with a dog

WAU-TRAVEL & WAU-TRAVEL BACKPACK

Before washing:Before washing, remove all carabiners and handles as well as the cover flap.

While washing:You can wash Wau-Travel and Wau-Travel Backpack in the washing machine at max. 30 °C - without fabric softener.

After washing: The bag and rucksack can be tumble dried on a gentle cycle. Make sure that the non-removable metal parts are thoroughly dry after washing.

Care:After a day at the lake or by the sea, you should clean the metal parts under running water and dry them thoroughly.

WAU-KAU & WAU-KEKS

To protect the inner coating, we recommend hand washing. It is best to wash the lining bags under running water and only use a mild detergent.

Bathing & care

All EMMY & PEPE products in this category are machine washable at max. 40 °C and suitable for tumble drying. Please close the Velcro fasteners beforehand.
