Hey, I'm Vicki
I was officially christened Viktoria Tuscher in 1986 – but to be honest, only my mother really calls me Viktoria, especially when I have another "crazy idea." Like in 2017, when I wanted to quit my secure job as an intensive care nurse... to sell dog collars. Yep, you read that right.
And so the first Wau-Shine collar was born, a collar that not only withstood Emmy's antics but also Pepe's – our wild European sled dog, who, at six months old, not only brought action to the house but also gave his name, EMMY & PEPE, its second part. On January 18, 2018, I took the plunge: I quit my job, founded E&P GmbH, and told myself: now or never. Completely without a plan, but with a whole lot of heart. And with Claudi – my first employee, who is still an integral part of EMMY & PEPE today. The rest? It's been a wild, wonderful journey full of fur, colors, and quite a few woof moments.

2020
The portfolio and the team are growing.
The beginning of the real adventure
Nicole becomes our first influencer – and with that, a new chapter begins. Our first collaboration with Westwind brings a breath of fresh air, and for the first time, we appear in broader advertising outside the dog lover's bubble. The Wau-Kau treat bag is launched.
On November 16, 2020, I met Hans – and with him began my very own "IT for Dummies" school, also affectionately known as Vicki's IT course. In December, I signed our very first lease for a proper commercial property. A milestone.

2021
Moving, online shop & first big visions
Moving, online shop & first big visions
In January we're moving – to Neutraubling, into our 390 m² warehouse, which combines office and storage space. Hans is simultaneously building the new online shop, and Tom starts as shipping manager in March.
The Wau-to-go and Wau-Backpack apps go online early in the year.
In the summer, we go on a fundraising trip to the flood area, and for the first time, the vision of our own dog competence center is born.

2022
Big steps & big feelings
The groundbreaking ceremony for our dog training center marks the beginning of a passion project. Hans and I will be celebrating our wedding in July – right in the middle of the busy E&P day-to-day business.
We release our first TikTok video, bring EMMY & PEPE to TV for "The Perfect Dinner", take in our first foster dog Ben and launch the dog and human bathrobe.
A small farewell: This is also our last participation in Interzoo.

2023
Moving in, departure, and lots and lots of videos
In August, we'll be moving into the completed dog training center. Shortly before then, Markus will join the team, and Nicole will transition from influencer to permanent team member – she'll be taking over the social media channels.
In February, Waussoni went online, followed shortly by Wau-Pack, which became a real hit. Our Wau-Move harness got an upgrade and relaunched.
We are now focusing primarily on videos, and the first student trainees are starting at E&P.

2024
Farewell to trade fairs, new ideas & eventful times
In November, it's time for our last live trade fair – and that's when we start planning our roadshow.
Pepe's back surgery is scheduled for June – a challenging time. At the same time, the wow-factor beds with faux leather bases are going online, and the dishes are getting the practical pull tab.
Our “Grandma Content” delights you, and the new Wau-Safety Collection goes live.

2025
The new beginning in the system
In March/April we will be switching over all systems – including the complete redesign of our online shop.
What else is in store? Who knows. But one thing is for sure: We are ready – and excited about everything that awaits us.
The team
Nothing is possible without my team – that much is certain!
EMMY & PEPE, innovative and stylish products for dogs, is only what it is today thanks to the collaboration of many creative minds. What you often don't see online: behind the brand are numerous individual people who bring this company to life with passion and dedication.
Our "wow" factor isn't just about the products, it's about the whole team! Fun fact: Hardly any of us work in the profession we originally trained for. Instead of pastry chef – shipping manager, instead of salesperson – cutter, from animal caretaker to social media manager.
We simply do things differently. Instead of rigid structures, we trust our gut feeling – and that's exactly what makes us special. 💛

Social Media/ Cutter
Hey, I'm Chris.
I'm the guy behind the camera – and also the editor. Whether it's reels for social media, product videos, or explainer clips: if something's moving at our place, I've probably had a hand in it.
Sounds simple enough – if it weren't for our creative bunch (yes, Vicki, I'm referring mainly to you). Bringing structure to the chaos and getting everyone in front of the camera in a somewhat planned way is sometimes more challenging than the actual filming. With us, a lot of things happen spontaneously, a bit chaotically, and usually according to the Bavarian motto: "Let's see – then we'll know."
And that's exactly what it all comes down to in the end.

Storage
Hey, I'm Tom.
Together with Markus, we rule the ground floor – better known as our warehouse. And let's be honest: we're way cooler than our social media and marketing colleagues anyway. Why? Because nothing works without us.
Every order, every package passes through our hands. We're like the ants of EMMY & PEPE – hardworking, tireless, and always ready to implement even the most spontaneous crazy ideas from the C-suite. Whether it's a last-minute collection or a flash of creative inspiration: we get it done. Literally.

Support
Hey, I'm Franzi.
From nursing directly to the phone – like many of us, I originally trained for something completely different. Today, I'm your first point of contact at EMMY & PEPE for all your questions, concerns, or calls. No matter how you get in touch with us – you'll usually end up speaking to me.
Together with Ilka, I also manage our shop and take care of everything that goes on behind the scenes. And like all of us, I'm a jack-of-all-trades – it's never boring, and that's a good thing.
Oh yes, one last fun fact: I've actually known Vicki since our riding days together as children. As they say, you always meet twice in life – well, here I am!

Social Media & Shop
Hey, I'm Jojo.

production
Hey, I'm Claudi.
I'm standing here representing our entire production team – and I probably ended up in front of the camera because I was the first employee at EMMY & PEPE. I've been with the company since 2017 and have witnessed virtually every step of its development.
My main job? Sewing our rope collars, punching and screwing the Biothane collars – in short: I make sure that materials are transformed into truly cherished items. But actually, I'm our typical jack-of-all-trades. Wherever there's a fire, I'm there to help.

marketing
Hey, I'm Melli.
Everything that looks beautiful at EMMY & PEPE passes through my hands in some way. From the Wau Journal to the website's color scheme to the fabric designs of the Wau Effect Collection – this is my domain. And before I forget: every newsletter is also my creation. Colors, shapes, and design aren't just a job for me – they're my DNA.
Within the team, I'm not just the creative one with an eye for detail, but also responsible for keeping our designs grounded and true to our roots. And, as a side note: I'm the feel-good manager with a penchant for subtle sarcasm – something you can't lose amidst all the creative hustle and bustle.

Our Values & Promise

Vegan
We clothe animals – we don't wear them.
At EMMY & PEPE, we love dogs – just as they are: as loyal companions, best friends, and full-fledged family members. That's why it goes without saying that no animal has to suffer for the sake of our products.
Our products are 100% vegan – no leather, no animal materials, no compromises. Because we believe that style, quality, and sustainability are possible without animal products. Our high-quality alternatives are durable, comfortable to wear, and simply special – just like your dog.
Because for us, fashion for dogs means dressing them – not wearing them.

Handmade
100% handmade without compromise
At EMMY & PEPE, genuine craftsmanship is paramount. Every collar, leash, and dog bed is meticulously handcrafted – individually, precisely, and with great attention to detail.
Our dog products are custom-made to your specifications, ensuring they not only fit your dog perfectly but also reflect your style. Functionality, durability, and unique design go hand in hand for us – because that's the only way to create truly special pieces that are one of a kind.
This is only possible because we manufacture all our products ourselves. No mass-produced goods, no compromises – just genuine handcrafted items for you and your dog.

production
In-house production
Every EMMY & PEPE product is created in-house, from the initial sketch to the final finished product. This ensures that each piece meets our high standards for quality, functionality, and design.
Our development process begins with an idea on paper. Before we sew the first prototype, we test a miniature version to check its feasibility. Only when we are convinced by the look do the first prototypes follow – then the real test begins.
But the process doesn't end there: Our products are tested by our team, influencers, and customers before they are available in the shop. Only after numerous adjustments and optimizations do we begin production.
And even then, we don't stop! We are constantly developing existing products as well. The path from idea to finished product often takes weeks, months, or even years – because true quality takes time.

Washable
Only a washable dog product is a good product.
At EMMY & PEPE, we believe that dirt is simply part of a dog's life – but quality and design don't have to suffer. That's why all our products are designed to be easy to care for and washable.
Whether it's muddy hikes, walks in the rain, or a jump in the nearest puddle – your dog can be a dog without you having to worry about a collar, leash, or dog bed. Because only a product that's easy to clean is truly practical for everyday use.
Our materials are not only stylish and durable, but also easy to care for, so your dog accessories stay beautiful for as long as the first day. Because with us, style and functionality go hand in hand – just as they should.

Wow effect
What is this "wow" effect?
The "wow effect" describes the special feeling of joy, pride, and well-being your dog experiences when wearing a high-quality collar or accessory from EMMY & PEPE . It's that special moment when your four-legged friend not only feels comfortable but also senses that they are something truly special.
But the "wow effect" is more than just a stylish accessory – it's a combination of:
Comfort & Quality: High-quality materials that are comfortable to wear and meet the highest standards.
Individuality & Style: Unique designs that perfectly highlight your dog's personality.
Appreciation & love: The best way to show your loyal companion how important he is to you.
With EMMY & PEPE, every walk becomes a little performance, every moment a feel-good experience – and that is exactly the “WOW EFFECT”!
First steps on social media
My first social media posts. Amazing how much everything has changed, isn't it?

first material
2017 – the beginning of Emmy & Pepe.
For the first time, I ordered a larger quantity of materials as a retailer. I was so proud – and simply overjoyed – when all the beautiful things finally arrived. A huge step for my small business… and the beginning of something very special.

First Facebook post
I didn't realize in 2017 that social media would one day have so much reach and influence.
But what I did know was that this medium suited me – and I was really looking forward to it.
I never would have dared to dream back then that I would one day build a real company with it.

my first products
Rope collars with beads, multi-row designs or braided paracord collars and leashes – that's how it all started.
Countless models, techniques and styles – I tried, tested and learned so much until I found my own way.

first event
Strong Dog South – my very first event with my small manufacturing company.
Back then, I sewed and finished every order myself, right there on site – live, with heart and hands. Looking back on it now, that was a real starting point. The consistently positive feedback and the many orders first allowed the idea to take root in me: perhaps this could actually become a real business.

First photoshoot
That was Emmy and my first photoshoot – and to this day I love that picture of us.

Name & Slogan
The name EMMY & PEPE was decided from the very beginning – without discussion.
But a name alone is not enough. You need a logo, a slogan, suitable fonts, colors… in short: a complete corporate identity.
This was our first draft – and it was a long journey. Now, in 2025, we're revising our corporate identity for the third time. Because standing still is going backwards. Our path has changed – and that's exactly what we want to show.
