The Wau-Floor Traveller dog mat is the perfect solution for all places where a classic dog bed won't fit – whether in the dog crate, in the trunk of a car, or flexibly in your home. 2cm or 5cm thick premium A cold foam core mixed with viscoelastic foam provides reliable insulation against cold floors while simultaneously relieving pressure on joints and spine. This allows your dog to enjoy a healthy lying position and restful sleep – wherever he is.
With its stable, dimensionally stable lying surface, the Wau-Floor Traveller is suitable for dogs of all ages – especially sensitive or allergic dogs. The combination of robust, certified materials and in-house manufacturing guarantees uncompromising quality and safety. The integrated carrying handle makes transport particularly convenient – perfect for travel, outings, and spontaneous use.
Care instructions
Quick cleaning:
Light soiling and dog hair can easily be removed with a damp cloth, vacuum cleaner or lint roller.
Machine wash:
– The cover is removable and washable at 40°C.
Gentle wash cycle recommended for long durability
– Do not use fabric softener to preserve the function and quality of the fabric.
Drying:
– The cover must be completely dry before it is put back on.
– You can either tumble dry it on a gentle cycle or air dry it (please avoid direct heat)
Shipping & Returns
We ship your desired product quickly and reliably with DHL. Items in stock are shipped within 2–5 business days. Products that we custom-make for you take approximately 3–4 weeks to ship. Yes, the cover of our Wau-Floor dog mat is removable!
For a more thorough cleaning, you can simply remove the cover and wash it in the washing machine. This keeps the Wau-Floor hygienically clean and fresh.
Is the dog mat waterproof?
No, the Wau-Floor dog mat is not completely waterproof or scratch-resistant, but it still offers good protection.
Moisture protection & material properties:
• Light moisture is repelled – The cover protects against minor accidents or wet paws.
• Underside made of outdoor fabric – dirt and water repellent, ideal for various surfaces.
• Not suitable for severe incontinence – larger amounts of liquid can cause moisture to penetrate the mat.
What size Wau-Floor dog mat does my dog need?
The correct size Wau-Floor for your dog depends on its size and sleeping habits. There are three sizes to choose from:
Size overview:
• S (small dogs) – Ideal for dogs up to approx. 10 kg (e.g. Chihuahua, Dachshund, Maltese).
• M (medium-sized dogs) – Perfect for dogs between 10–25 kg (e.g. Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie, Beagle).
• L (large dogs) – Suitable for dogs weighing approximately 25 kg or more (e.g., Labrador, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd).
How do I choose the right size?
Measure your dog from nose to base of tail and choose the size that gives him enough room to lie down and stretch out.

- We're working hard! All orders are shipped within 2-4 business days of receiving payment. If everything goes smoothly, your package should arrive in under a week – provided your desired item is in stock.

If you have ordered multiple items with different delivery times, we kindly ask for your patience. For sustainability reasons, we will ship your order together as soon as all items are available. - We deliver our products worldwide.
- The delivery time begins after receipt of payment.
- Payment options include: prepayment via bank transfer, purchase on account, instant banking, Shopify Pay or payment via PayPal.
- Shipping is via DHL. Shipping costs are calculated directly at checkout.
Returns & Cancellations
What does the right of withdrawal look like in normal cases?
You have the right to cancel your order within 30 days without giving any reason. The period begins as soon as you or a person designated by you (other than the delivery person) has received the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send us a clear statement of this. It is sufficient if you send this notification before the 30-day period expires.
Refund & Return:
Once we have received your cancellation and the returned goods, we will refund the purchase price (including delivery costs, unless you chose a more expensive shipping method than our standard shipping) within 30 days. The refund will be issued via the same payment method you used for the original purchase.
Please note:
The goods must be returned to us with sufficient postage – we cannot accept collect shipments.
No right of withdrawal for personalized products:
According to § 312g para. 2 no. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no right of withdrawal for products that have been manufactured or personalized according to your specifications. This includes, for example, custom-made dog beds or other special orders. An exchange or return is only possible if there is a defect as defined by the statutory warranty.
